Republican Women of Montezuma County are excited to host Hope Scheppelman, the Vice Chair of the State Republican Party as the Keynote Speaker at their August meeting.
Hope Scheppelman had a distinguished military service as a Navy Corpsman from 2000 to 2004 and is a nurse practitioner. She is from Bayfield and has been active in the La Plata County Republican Party, including her previous election as Vice Chair in the La Plata County Republican Party. In an interview with The Durango Herald, Hope elaborated on the need “to ask voters what issues matter most to them and engage in meaningful conversations”. That is exactly the philosophy behind the Republican Women of Montezuma County’s outreach efforts as exemplified by their funding of Conservative Grounds on North Broadway and their public monthly meetings on the second Thursday at noon at the Baymont Inn, Cortez Colorado that feature guest speakers.
Her speech will include insights from the recent Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, as well as other interesting topics.
