Hurricane Hits England
On October 31, a devastating hurricane hit the city of Northampton. The strong wind knocked down many trees, damaged roofs of houses, damaged hundreds of cars, people were frightened, many power lines were damaged, as a result of which more than 8,000 houses were de-energized. There was a lot of material damage. Also, the hurricane struck the island of Portland, Dorset, which are located near the Channel, it was difficult to navigate.
