My Rambling Thoughts on a Historic Inauguration 2025

I never watched a Presidential Inauguration before. Never felt the need or had the interest, but this one, this one was HISTORIC, and I watched it ALL.

I watched Trump’s speech at the Capital One arena rally on Sunday. On Monday I started watching all the events at 8 am(MT). I saw Trump and Melania come and go from church to the WH to the Capitol. Saw Melania almost lose her hat to the wind several times. Everyone seemed to love her hat. I thought it hid her eyes too much. But then maybe it also hid her emotions as she looked at all those people that tried to take her husband out?

Then I watched all the people enter the Capitol building, their expressions, what they were wearing. I missed seeing Fetterman in his gym shorts and hoodie, but sure didn’t miss Jeff Bezos’ trashy girlfriend.  Sorry, I thought what she was wearing was totally inappropriate.  I did say to myself at times as people came in “who the heck is that?” I guess I just don’t know all the important people in DC. Imagine that.

I cried when they sang the Battle Hymn of the Republic, and I cheered when Vance and Trump were sworn in.

And then THE SPEECH. WOW. I cheered again. Trump was straightforward, didn’t hold back and he spoke the TRUTH. It took courage, with all the demonic past leaders sitting behind him, to talk about how they were destroying our country and how he was going to REVERSE IT ALL. I sure would have liked to know what they all were thinking.  Except Biden, who probably was still thinking “I could have beaten him”. Kamala was probably seething, thinking “that should have been me”

Every sentence in that speech was incredible. Especially when Trump gave credit to GOD for saving his life so he could save America.  He also stated that “we are one glorious nation under GOD”.   Praise the Lord!

After that I watched his second speech of the day, where he mentioned things that he was told to leave out of his Inauguration Speech.  Then I took a few hours off, while all the important people went to some very fancy lunch. I think I finally got out of my PJs, took a shower and filled my bird feeders during the break.

I returned to listen to his 3rd speech at the Capital One arena and watch him sign a bunch of Executive Orders. I cheered again! Later, I watched him sign even more Executive Orders in the Oval Office, and casually answer questions from the Press.

IT WAS AN AMAZING HISTORICAL DAY! SO EXCITING! SO HOPEFUL!

But I do have some questions:

1.        Why did trump wear a PURPLE tie?

2.        Why did Judge Roberts rush Trump’s swearing in? (was he behind schedule?)

3.        Why did Trump not put his hand on the Bibles that Melania was carrying? (many

commenters said that it didn’t matter, but I think it was significant)

4.        Why did the music for Carrie Underwood refuse to play? (Ha, Carrie said no problem, I can sing it acapella)

5.        Why did Dr. Jill lean her head on Kamala’s husband’s shoulder when greeting him? (that was weird)

I didn’t watch the Liberty Ball. The next day I looked at clips just to see Melania’s dress.  I thought it was OK, it probably had some meaning. Actually I liked Usha’s dress better.  And that is all I will say about fashion, of which I have no clue.

Well. It was an AWESOME HISTORIC DAY for America. Thank you God for Trump’s win and for a safe Inaugural Day.

Trump’s best line, for me , was “the golden age of America begins right now”.

Just remember, we have won this battle, but the WAR is still ongoing! We need to continue to PRAY and FIGHT.

P.S. If you want to see a list of all the Executive Orders Trump has signed, with an explanation you can go to WhiteHouse.gov and click on Executive Actions. It is IMPRESSIVE!
