REP. JEFF HURD GOES FULL RINO

Stabs Trump in the Back Over January 6 Pardons

It didn't take long for the Americans for (No) Prosperity to pull the strings of their puppet, Colorado’s new CD3 Representative Jeff Hurd. Just hours after posting a selfie congratulating President Trump on the inauguration, Hurd stabbed the President in the back and criticized Trump over the pardoning the people Trump calls the January 6th “hostages.” Liberal media hacks at KUSA asked Colorado’s newly sworn in Republican Representatives about the January 6th pardons this week. (Notice they did not ask about Biden’s outrageous pardons but what do you expect from Kyle Clark and company). Rep. Lauren Boebert (CD4) responded by saying she supported Trump’s decision. Rep. Jeff Crank (CD5) and Rep. Gabe Evans (CD8) ignored the clearly biased question. But Rep. Jeff Hurd (CD3) played right into the hands of the progressive media and Democrats and replied: “I’m deeply disappointed by the pardons for those who assaulted law enforcement officers and for those who fought to stop the constitutional certification of the 2020 election.” Rep. Jeff Hurd.

What the heck? Is he crazy? Nope, he’s just a self-aggrandizing bought and paid for puppet. Remember, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) endorsed Hurd in CD3 over grassroots candidate Ron Hanks and poured millions of dollars into his campaign. The notoriously open borders AFP initially opposed Trump but they reached a temporary truce which is clearly over now that Trump has been sworn in.

In a social media post this week, Trump talked about hiring over a thousand people for his new administration and he made it clear AFP acolytes need not apply. Trump posted, “…it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch).” The question is, why would Hurd choose this particular hill to make his RINO stand on? Recent polls show most Americans do not consider January 6th an insurrection (the courts certainly did not) and the vast majority have long since moved on and don’t care about January 6th, 2020. But Hurd owes AFP and is happy to do its bidding. We also suspect he also wants to make a name for himself as a “maverick” like fellow RINO and traitor Ken Buck, former CD4 Representative.

Buck also tried to make himself a media darling by opposing Trump and how’s that going for him? He can’t even get an invite to appear on CNN or PBS. Hurd would do well to remember he did not win by a very large margin and Elon Musk has made it clear he will put up the money to primary RINOs who try to thwart Trump and the America First agenda.
