The Jab And Teachers

On Friday November 12th, 2021 I received a text message from my daughter who is a student at MCHS. In this text message she stated "guess what just happened in my Spanish class? We had a substitute teacher in Spanish today and he told us "when the vaccine first came out I got it, then a coworker of mine got COVID and the only thing that saved me from getting COVID was the vaccine. So you should all get the vaccine". I was horrified by what this teacher was telling my child and the rest of the children in this classroom! Whether these children are already vaccinated or not should NEVER be an instruction to them from a teacher, that is the sole responsibility of the children's parents! I have always had the utmost respect for teachers and school administrators. They do a very important job, that not everyone is capable of doing. However, with that said, there is also a responsibility of these individuals to make sure they are ONLY teaching the subject matter they are hired to teach! It is not the responsibility of the teachers and administrators to subject our children to their beliefs. Our children are there to learn specific subjects such as math, science, Spanish, etc. Topics such as vaccines are not their responsibility! Parents, please be aware of what is happening in your child's classroom. Thank you, Michelle Bridgewater
